Special Collection
We will soon be launching a Special Collection for the Cogent Social Sciences: Sport & Discrimination Journal entitled Sport and Online Abuse: The Proliferation of Online Harms. This will be led by Lauren Burch (Loughborough University London) and Leon Davis (Chester University)…
“Sport has often been called a microcosm of society. While progress has been made to call awareness to and address systemic forms of discrimination, there remain areas of stagnation and new challenges have emerged. This Collection examines the complex and evolving forms of discrimination within contemporary sport, bringing together interdisciplinary perspectives that explore how discrimination is produced, experienced, and challenged across different sporting contexts.”
